Family

This weekend I have the opportunity to see some relatives that I haven't seen in a long time, aka a "mini-reunion" if you will. My grandmother, Roberta, is 84 and unable to travel, so her 81 year old sister, Rosie, and her daughters, Peggy and Patty flew from their respective homes to visit. My Aunt Nancy also came down from Alaska for the weekend. Tonight, we had dinner at my dad's house and basically enjoyed being together.

I have a small family, and so I cherish these moments together - laughing, telling stories, sharing funny anecdotes, etc. Patty shared a hilarious article from an Arkansas paper about a man having to kill a buck in his daughter's bedroom. The headline read, "Man battles buck in the bedroom." Well, it IS Arkansas...

Don't forget about your family, no matter how far away they may be. Night...
